Quiet Light began with the stone itself.

I have always loved that labradorite can look completely different depending on the light. One moment, it appears smoky and understated. Turn it slightly, and flashes of blue, green and gold begin to appear.

What draws me to the stone most is that it does not reveal everything at once. The color is already there. You simply see more of it as the stone moves through the light.

I wanted the necklace to carry that same contrast. It needed enough presence to transform what you are wearing, but it still had to feel easy, comfortable and never overdone. I kept the setting clean so the labradorite could remain the focus, then paired it with a long rectangular-link chain that adds structure and interest without competing with the stone.

Quiet Light features a 30 mm natural labradorite stone set within a generously sized 48 mm pendant (just under two inches). The pendant hangs from a 28-inch, 3 mm rectangular-link chain with a 2-inch extender.

The setting and chain are crafted in 14K gold-plated brass with a tarnish-resistant finish. The chain has a substantial, sculptural appearance while remaining light and comfortable to wear.

Quiet Light makes even a simple white tee and denim feel more intentional. She is just as easy to wear with a dress for dinner, without requiring you to build your entire outfit around her.

Two looks in one: The pendant can be removed from the chain, allowing you to wear Quiet Light as a complete statement necklace or wear the sculptural rectangular-link chain on its own.

Because labradorite is a natural stone, each one will vary slightly in pattern, color and flash. The necklace you receive may differ slightly from the one photographed, making every Quiet Light necklace unique.

I originally created only two for our Kingston pop-up. Both sold within the first few hours, and women continued asking whether I would bring the necklace back.

So I listened.
