Returns Policy

HOW DO I RETURN AN ITEM?

  1. Due to hygienic reasons, we do not accept returns for Earrings. Please be sure to read all the details about each piece before placing your order.
  2. For our handbags: If an item is unused and in it’s original packaging, we'll take it back within 21 days of the item being delivered to your door for a refund. Please allow 5-10 business days for your refund to process.
    1. Merchandise must be returned within 21 days.
    2. Merchandise must not be used, worn or damaged.
    3. Merchandise must have all original tags attached.

HOW DO I REQUEST AN EXCHANGE?

In an effort to get refunds issued as quickly as possible (and by quickly, we mean within a few days of you returning your package!), we do not offer exchanges at this time. If you are interested in a different color, we recommend purchasing the correct item right away and returning your original item. That way you can get going in the right product as soon as possible!

HOW LONG BEFORE I SEE MY REFUND?

Please allow 5-10 business days for your return to arrive at our facility and your refund to process.

ARE RETURNS FREE?

Returns incur a 5% restocking fee. We accept returns within 21 days of the item being delivered to your door.

To start a return, you can contact us at customercare@thegildedstone.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

CAN I RETURN A FINAL SALE ITEM?

Final Sale items cannot be returned. No exceptions will be made. We understand that buying Final Sale items can be tricky, so please be sure to read all details before placing your order.

CAN I SHIP MULTIPLE RETURNS BACK TOGETHER?

No. You will need to create a separate return label for each order. You will not receive a proper refund or credit if multiple orders are returned in one shipment.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Due to hygienic reasons, we do not accept returns for Earrings. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
